Elections
So in the United States the elections were held a few days ago. The two primary candidates were, current President Barack Obama, and Senator Mitt Romney. Now I personally wasn't in favor of either of these two candidates, I felt so disappointed by my options for this election. I felt like most people were just choosing the lesser of two evils which isn't really how an election should ever be run. If I had been forced to choose between them I would have sided with Obama primarily because he supports immigrants a lot more than Romney has, and my parents were immigrants. Can't forget your roots after all. I am glad that this is over, and seeing how the candidate I voted for (Jill Stein) never really had a shot I'm somewhat relieved Obama won. I did find it ridiculous how much money was thrown away on these elections, and find the idea of it only increasing in years to come a bit sickening. I'm somewhat uneasy about the fate of my country. I love the United States very much and hope Obama kicks it into high gear these next 4 years, and tries to get us back to being the #1 country in the world. That was my little thought on the elections, what did you guys think? Were you happy with the results?

Well I voted for Obama. I think he has done a lot in the last 4 years; however, there is a lot he did that I didn't really like to much. I think Romney was also trying to do his best in this election, but he unfortunately doesn't like anyone who gets under 200,000 a year so I went for Obama. I really do hope he kicks it up a noch. With the Sandy that just passed and the country divided because of the election. He is going to have to work hard and fast.
